Below is a troubleshooting guide to be used as a reference for problems with the headsets.  This list is comprised from experiences that are most commonly reported from the field.


All "H" SERIES
Problem Solution A Solution B Solution C
Can't hear through headset Check Connections Try replacing batteries (only applicable if using M22 adapter and slide switch pos. #5 or #6). Try headset with another base (M22 or P10/P10H/1890).
Can't be heard when using headset Make sure "mute" button is not pressed on.  

Voice tube model- check clear voice tube first by removing and try without, if better then replace with new one.  

Noise canceling model- check mic position, mic should be a thumbs distance from the corner of the mouth.

Try replacing batteries (only applicable if using M22 adapter and slide switch pos. #5 or #6). Adjust mic gain towards positive, or clockwise (white screw) on side of M22.
Headset makes beeping sound Try replacing batteries (only applicable if using M22 adapter and slide switch pos. #5 or #6).    
Mic on headset too sensitive (I sound loud) Adjust mic gain towards negative, or counterclockwise (white screw) on side of M22.    
 
     All new "H" series headsets have a 2 year warranty.  If you are unable to rectify the problem utilizing the above guide, go to the Warranty Replacements Submission page.
